Manufacturers recommend storing angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor tablets in a closed, tight container in a dry place. Some manufacturers recommend storing tablets at room temperature (59-86°F, 5-30°C), others at controlled room temperature (68-77°F, 20-25°C). ACE inhibitors should be protected from moisture, freezing, excessive heat, and should be out of the reach of children.1-14
One ACE inhibitor, quinapril, should be protected from light by being stored in a dark place.12
One oral solution ACE inhibitor, enalapril, is recommended to be stored refrigerated (36-46°F, 2-8°C) but can be stored at room temperature for up to 60 days.3
